Former WWE Star Sends Message to Tony Khan After Visiting AEW

Donovan Dijak shared a message for Tony Khan following Sunday’s AEW Forbidden Door pay-per-view, following recent teasing.

With Dijak’s contract with WWE expiring Friday and the star making his first post-WWE appearance on Saturday, the popular star appeared to tease his appearance at Sunday’s Forbidden Door event ahead of the show.

Although it was later reported that Dijak was backstage at UBS Arena, the former WWE star ultimately did not appear at the AEW pay-per-view event.

Dijak has now taken to Twitter to thank Tony Khan for inviting him to watch the event.

In response to the AEW president’s tweet thanking fans for watching Forbidden Door, Dijak wrote:

Great show man, thanks for having me.

Dijak had previously shared a photo of his signature sunglasses in front of a screen showing Forbidden Door, apparently backstage at the event.
