Four rifle athletes will represent Team USA this summer at the 2024 Paris Olympics, July 26-August 11. American rifle athletes include Rylan Kissell, Ivan Roe, Sagen Maddalena and Mary Tucker.

Rylan Kissell of Denver, Colorado, is the latest athlete to qualify for the 2024 Paris Games. Kissell finished second overall at the three-part US Olympic Trials-Air Gun in January. Kissell has excelled in his shooting career and recently won two medals at the 2023 Pan American Games. He fell in love with the sport of shooting and was a rifle competitor for the Gallatin Valley Sharpshooters in Montana. Roe went on to shoot for Murray State University, where he was a seven-time All-American. After college, Roe joined the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, where his shooting career took off. Maddalena started with high-powered rifles and eventually moved to Olympic-style shooting. She attended one of the top rifle programs in the country at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and redshirted her freshman season in 2013. Maddalena’s success was evident throughout her studies as she was an eight-time All-American. After college, Maddalena joined the U.S. Army’s marksmanship unit and her international accomplishments began to pile up. Maddalena won two medals at the 2023 ISSF World Championships, three medals at the 2023 Pan American Games, and most recently, four medals at the 2024 Americas Championship.
