On June 1, a series of messages from FROMM of Soomin where the idol appeared to be responding to a message she received from a fan, which many netizens deemed inappropriate as Soomin is a minor (born in 2007).

The first message was apparently one she received that read: “I want to crush (my lips) on yours and make Soomin all flustered!! » After a few ellipses and emojis, Soomin responded with the Korean letters of the Japanese phrase “やれやれ”, which has different meanings but can translate to “Well, well” but is normally used for negative connotations of disappointment .

The main tweet used on leqoo came from a tweet that gained attention online where the OP wrote, “Considering that a 30-year-old fan probably left such a comment for tripleS’s Soomin (07), that’s a bit…”

Although there is no confirmation of the age of the person who sent the message, netizens found it inappropriate and thought the company should do more to protect the young idol from these kinds of messages. Although Soomin apparently took this lightly, it could have been much worse and shows that there are no measures in place to monitor the comments that members can see.
