Stamford Health Announces Opening of Harbor Point Walk-In Care Center

STAMFORD, Conn., July 1, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Today, Stamford Health announced the opening of the Harbour Point Walk-In Center, which will begin offering walk-in family medicine services immediately. The facility, located at 170 Washington Blvd. in the Harbour Point neighborhood of Stamfordis the health system’s fourth immediate care offering and second location in Harbor Point, joining HSS Sports Rehab Harbor Point. Patients ages 14 and up will be able to access the walk-in facility starting at 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

The new facility offers a variety of health care services to patients ages 14 and up, including medical visits for general illnesses, colds, flu and COVID-19 symptoms, vaccinations to treat common ailments, treatment for minor aches and sprains, and more. The facility will also offer services such as obstetrics-gynecology and other women’s health care services in the near future.

Harbour Point Walk-In Center Adds to Stamford Health’s Growing List of Outpatient Sites in Lower Mainland Fairfield County and will provide convenient care and services to the local community, including those who are new to the area or do not yet have a primary care physician.

Romulo VasquezMD, a board-certified physician in primary care, family medicine and sports medicine at Stamford Health, will lead the facility and serve as the primary caregiver. The center will also include advanced practice providers and support staff. In addition to providing on-site treatment, Dr. Vasquez and his team will help connect patients to other providers and specialists in the Stamford Health network for continued treatment.
