‘She’s ready for it’: Taylor Swift gushes over Simone Biles as she uses singer’s song for her number

It seems like even Taylor Swift can’t help but fangirl over Simone Biles. The talented Olympic gold medalist used one of the singer’s songs for her recent floor routine, which literally left Taylor on the floor.

In response to the video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Taylor commented that she had already watched the video multiple times. Here’s what happened.

What did Swift say about Biles using her song for her routine?

Friday, June 28, Simone Biles used Taylor Swift’s famous song Ready For It to start her floor routine at the 2024 U.S. Olympic gymnastics trials. The video, which was shared on the official NBC Olympics & Paralympics X (formerly Twitter) account (@NBCOlympics), was seen by Taylor Swift herself, who couldn’t help but react to Biles using her 2017 track from the album Reputation.

“I’ve watched this so many times and I’m still not ready. But she is ready,” the singer commented, referencing the song and Biles’ incredible floor performance. The comment was also accompanied by a few emojis, including one of a medal and the American flag. Biles finished her floor routine with Delresto (Echoes) by Travis Scott ft. Beyoncé.

Simone Biles’ performance was amazing as always

Taylor Swiftalong with thousands of others, was right to be so impressed by Biles’ performance, as she was incredible during her routine. During the event, Biles performed her signature triple-double, which the video commentator called the “hardest tumbling move in the world.” Biles was the first woman to perform the move at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2019.

Although she had some hiccups on her balance beam event, Biles managed to claim the top spot in the first half of the women’s qualifiers with her floor, bars and vault routines.

Biles fan Taylor Swift also wows her audience with her incredible performance during the European leg of her Eras tour.
