Nicola Coughlan’s custom gold corset was inspired by Penelope’s Glow-Up

Nicola Coughlan has a major corset moment. And I’m not talking about what she wears in season 3 of The Bridgerton Chronicle. I’m talking about the custom 24-karat gold corset she wore to a press conference on April 13th (which you can see here). Good luck tearing it up. that bodice off, Colin Bridgerton.

According to the brand that designed it, Misho, the two-piece gold corset, with an anatomical heart motif in the center, Coughlan’s The Bridgerton Chronicle “Inspired by Nicola’s character in the beloved series, the bodice adorns the shape of a heart and is a modern sculptural interpretation of Penelope Featherington’s journey with love and finding herself this season,” the brand wrote on Instagram.

Coughlan wore the corset over a black silk off-the-sleeve dress and paired it with Misho’s gold Amphora necklace, which features a water vessel pendant. She kept the rest of her look simple, wearing her blonde hair in loose waves around her shoulders and adding a pair of simple black pumps.

“Polin season is officially here 🐝,” Nicola Coughlan wrote on Instagram, referring to the The Bridgerton Chronicle fan portmanteau of Penelope and Colin’s first names. And I think we all know who this season’s diamond is.
