Donovan Dijak Makes Surprise Appearance After WWE Departure, Cuts Insult-Riddled Promo After Attacking Champ (Video)

Donovan Dijak said he’ll take what he wants after his WWE release.

On June 27, Donovan Dijak announced that he would be leaving WWE imminently, with his last day under contract set for June 28. According to the star, WWE never negotiated with him as his contract expired.

It didn’t take long for the star to resurface on the independent scene after his contract expired. On his first day of free agency on June 29, Dijak shocked the crowd at a Blitzkrieg Pro event in Enfield, CT. CPA celebrated their Bedlam title win on TJ Crawford, Dijak interrupted, exposing the new champion with a “Feast Your Eyes”.

He then took the microphone and gave a scathing promo, making it clear that he would do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted now that he was a free agent.

“Last night, I didn’t plan on coming here. Last night, I was still working for WWE. No more. I saw something I wanted, I came and I took it. You’re going to get something really, really special. Because from now on, if I want to do something, I’m going to do it. I don’t care about the state, the country or the promotion. I’m going to go where I want, when I want, and take whatever I want.”

“Look carefully” – Donovan Dijak

Dijak then promised to return the favor to the audience present, thanking them for helping him gain exposure and promising to shake each and every one of them’s hands.

“So if you have glasses, take them off, open your eyes and take a good look, because this is exactly what the world of professional wrestling has in store for you in the future. This is a place for those of you who have been here a long time. This is the place where I made my name. So not only am I going to come and take everything I want, I’m going to give it all back to you.”

So line up, get in line, I’ll be here all night to meet each and every one of you, to shake each and every one of your hands, and to thank you for being there for me, for being there for them, and for being there for everybody, and you can feast your eyes on me.

In a recent interview, Dijak criticized WWE for not directly informing talent of releases, calling it “one of the most horrible business practices I’ve ever witnessed.”
