Hawk Tuah’s Daughter Haliey Welch FINALLY Breaks Her Silence After Viral Video Launches Her To Stardom

The young woman who became famous after a video in which she gave enthusiastic sex advice went viral has finally spoken out.

Haliey Welch, now known as the “Hawk Tuah girl,” described her surprise at becoming an overnight sensation, the “scary” reaction she got from men online and how her parents were unfazed by her explicit advice.

Speaking with Brianna Lapaglia on the Plan Bri Uncut podcast on Monday, the 21-year-old said fans have offered her up to $600 to spit in a jar for them. But Welch — whose unusual spelling of her first name was confirmed by DailyMail.com — added that she’s hesitant to remain “Hawk Tuah’s” daughter forever.

She also revealed that she quit her factory job and hired a manager since the clip in which she explains how to “drive a man crazy in bed” during a Nashville street video for Tim & Dee TV was released on YouTube on June 19 and has racked up more than 3 million views.

When asked what her parents thought of her viral comment, Welch replied, “They think it’s so funny…they never know what’s going to come out of my mouth,” she told Lapaglia.

When asked what his parents thought of his crude, viral comment, Welch said they found it comical.

At first, Welch isolated herself in rural Tennessee where she lives with her family. Her friends and family built a protective wall around her to shield her from publicity.

Since being thrust into the spotlight, she said she has received “revolting” offers from fans who have tried to reach her through the man she teamed up with to offer her special “Hawk Tuah” merchandise.

She said, “So the guy who makes my hats, he was offered $600 three days ago to spit in a jar and sell it.”

She added: “It’s revolting! It’s just disgusting, isn’t it?”

The 21-year-old joined Lapaglia, also known as “Brianna Chickenfry,” just two days after Lapaglia joined the podcaster’s boyfriend, Zach Bryan, on stage at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

Since the clip flooded social media, Welch has gained a huge following on social media.

She came out of hiding this weekend and took the stage with country music star Zach Bryan.

The video sparked hundreds of memes about the crude moment and was criticized by fans, celebrities and athletes.

The night the video was taken, Welch had just returned from CMA Fest when she ran into the YouTubers.

She admitted she had not been drinking that night, but said her vulgar comment was a joke and she “didn’t mean anything by it.”

Welch rose to fame after a June 19 interview in which she used the term “Hawk Tuah” to describe a sexual act.

The rising star was then asked about the celebrity she had a crush on in a game called ‘Hawk Tuah or Nah’.

Lapaglia first asked Welch what she thought of her country singer boyfriend, telling her to “be careful.”

Welch and Chelsea Bradford, the friend standing next to her in the viral clip, both burst out laughing before telling Lapaglia, “I love you, but I love you.”

The duo then showed interest in Morgan Wallen. However, they failed to recognize who Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown was.

At first, they didn’t recognize Dave Portnoy, the owner of Barstool Sports, but after Lapaglia showed them a photo, they gave him a “Hawk.”

Welch and Bradford were also reluctant when asked about professional boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul, but they immediately declined the offer to “peddle” former President Donald Trump.

Although Welch quickly rose to stardom, she admitted she didn’t want to be known as the Hawk Tuah girl forever.

She explained that when she was interviewed by Tim & Dee TV, she thought she would never see the video again.

“Then I came back about an hour later and it went up a million views and I was like, ‘Oh my God, there’s no way that happened,’” Welch explained.

The 21-year-old joined Lapaglia, also known as “Brianna Chickenfry,” just two days after Lapaglia joined the podcaster’s boyfriend, Zach Bryan, on stage at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

Lapaglia then asked the internet sensation how she felt about being known as the Hawk Tuah girl, a name Welch said she doesn’t want to be called for the rest of her life.

She then accessed numerous fake social media accounts that claimed to be hers, but she claims she deleted her accounts months before the video.

Welch also denied rumors about where she and her family worked. Online reports initially suggested that Welch was a teacher who was fired after the video surfaced, and that her father was a pastor.

“I worked in a spring factory, I’m not a schoolteacher,” she said.

“My father is so far from being a preacher, it’s crazy.”

She said that after becoming famous, she quit her job and now plans to travel around the country and “be on a show and a bunch of podcasts and everything in between.”

“There is still much to come, don’t worry,” she added.

In addition to the creepy men who attack her online, Welch said she’s also received a fair amount of hate from people, but she doesn’t care.

She said, “The people out there who hate me, I don’t even know them. So what do I care?”
