ASCONA, Italy (Reuters) – Leroy Sane, who is on the transfer list of several top clubs after a breakout season at Schalke 04, said he would only consider his future once Germany’s Euro squad is finalised. The 20-year-old was one of the few players to make headlines during a disappointing season for Schalke, scoring eight league goals and providing six assists as his team finished fifth. “I am here with one goal in mind, to be in the final Euro squad. I haven’t thought about any of that,” Sane told reporters on Friday when asked about interest from clubs including Bayern Munich and Manchester City. Germany coach Joachim Low, who has praised the attacking midfielder, will part ways with four players later this month when he presents his 23-man squad for the tournament which begins in France on June 10. “I’ll see what happens on May 31,” said Sane, whose contract with Schalke runs until 2019. “I still have a contract at Schalke and I feel good there. Everything else is in the background for the moment and I’m concentrating on the Euros.” (Karolo Grohmann; Marc Angrand for the French service)
