WSAV partners with Ready Set Go! Back to School for supply drive

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Soon it will be time to go back to school.

To ensure local students have everything they need for the new year, WSAV has partnered with Ready Set Go! Back to School for a supply drive.

Through July 19, we will be collecting donations at WSAV Studios on Victory Drive across from Grayson Stadium.

WSAV will also host donation drop-off events at local Walmarts, including:

• Wednesday, July 10, at Montgomery Cross Rd. from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Thursday, July 11, at the Ogeechee Rd. Walmart from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Friday, July 12, at Walmart Pooler from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Monday, July 15, at the Abercorn St. Walmart from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, July 16, at the Walmart on Montgomery Cross Rd. from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 17, at the Ogeechee Rd. Walmart from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Free school supplies and other essentials will be handed out at the Ready Set Go! Back-to-School Party in the Park on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cann Park (45th and Stevens Streets) in Savannah.

• shampoo
• hydroalcoholic gel
• sanitary napkins
• tampons
• mouthwash
• wipes
• mesh backpacks
• lotion
• Handkerchiefs
• composition notebooks
• pencils
• dry erase markers
• colouring pencils
• glue stick
• Files
• highlighters
