Ryan Eggold to Join ‘The Blacklist’ as Series Regular After ‘Redemption’ Cancellation

EXCLUSIVE:Tom Keen comes home. The Blacklist: Redemption Star Ryan Eggold will return to the parent series as a regular next season following the cancellation of the freshman drama.

Eggold was an original cast member of The blacklist, co-starred for three seasons until leaving to star in a spin-off Redemption. The Blacklist has just been renewed by NBC for a fifth season.

The spin-off series, which originally premiered as an episode of The Black List Last spring, it centered on Ryan Eggold’s character, Tom Keen, and Tom’s mother, Scottie, played by Famke Janssen, who ran a private military company with an army of secret mercenaries.

Eggold will now join the cast of The Black Listled by James Spader as Red Reddington and Megan Boone as Elizabeth Keen.
