A Hallmark Movie Inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Is on the Way

Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis KelceThe relationship appears to have inspired an upcoming Hallmark movie.

The Chiefs have announced the next original movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Love Story for the Chiefsin partnership with Hallmark, the NFL and Skydance Sports in a press release shared Tuesday (June 25). The holiday film will feature Tyler Hynes, Hunter King And Ed Begley Jr. and filming will take place entirely in Kansas City, Missouri, including GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, when production begins in July.

The film’s plot isn’t exactly based on Swift and Kelce’s relationship, but it’s assumed it inspired the film given the Chiefs’ involvement. Tuesday’s announcement didn’t specify whether the couple was involved in any way.

Swift and Kelce, both 34, went public with their relationship last September when the singer was spotted with the tight end’s mother, Donnain a VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium during the Chiefs’ blowout win over the Chicago Bears, the first time she attended one of his games following dating rumors. The three-time Super Bowl champion revealed he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium before they started dating last summer.

Swift later said that Kelce “made me very adorably angry” when he acknowledged the situation on his Twitter account. New heights podcast, which she said was “metal as hell” while being billed as Time Magazine“Personality of the Year” in December 2023.
