Zac Efron Reveals Shocking Reason Behind His Facial Transformation

Zac Efron back in the latest romantic comedy,A family matter,raised more than one eyebrow about his changed face.

However, the The High School Musical Star felt he might look a little different these days and it’s because of an old jaw injury from years ago.

The actor’s movie star persona addresses speculation about his facial transformation in a meta scene.

He said: “I still had an operation. Right there (under my chin). I fell on broken glass while filming.”

Earlier, Efron had said Men’s health In 2022, he was running around his house in socks and slipped, smacking his chin on the granite corner of the fountain.

As a result, the actor’s chin bone remained “hanging from his face” and his jaw had to be wired shut.

The sudden change in his face, which attracted attention around 2021, sparked rumors that he had undergone plastic surgery.

He told the publication that he had no idea about the speculation until his own mother asked him about his jawline. Efron also said Entertainment Tonight the same year he “nearly died” after breaking his jaw.

Efron recently starred in A family matter in which Nicole Kidman and Joey King play leading roles.
