Malaysia’s Good Vibes 2024 festival cancelled to honour coronation

PETALING JAYA – The Good Vibes Festival (GVF) 2024 has been cancelled to accommodate the coronation ceremony of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the 17th King of Malaysia.

Future Sound Asia, the music festival’s organizer, announced the news on social media on July 1.

He also said the festival would not be rescheduled, marking the second consecutive year it has been cancelled.

“Due to the nature of the GVF, which involves multiple tours over multiple days, it is not possible to reschedule the music festival,” he said in a statement on the GVF Instagram page on July 1.

“All GVF ticket buyers will automatically receive a full refund to the payment methods used for their purchases.”
