Megan Thee Stallion Reveals Who Inspired Her Tequila Brand in ‘Club Shay Shay’

Megan Thee Stallion has already had a breakout year, and the Texas-born artist shows no signs of slowing down. In addition to touring North America on her “Hot Girl Summer” tour alongside GloRilla, Meg just released her brand new album, MeganeThe project has been a huge success so far, and listeners can agree that the wait was worth it. However, she has also recently teased a new project, unrelated to music. In May of this year, Meg gave her Instagram followers a fun first look at her own brand of tequila.

Details of the launch have yet to be revealed, although at the time she said it was “coming out soon.” She also shared some exciting new details about it during her recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s show. Club Shay Shay According to her, she was encouraged to get into the alcoholic beverage industry by another female superstar, who certainly knows a thing or two about marketing.

“Beyoncé is actually the person who made me want to have my own tequila,” she told Sharpe. “Because I was the queen of cognac. I still am. But even though I loved cognac and I promoted a lot of alcohol brands, she was like, ‘Next time I see you, you better have your own. You have to have your own alcohol.’”
