(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Free vaccinations for hepatitis, chickenpox, HPV and COVID-19 are being offered at the Helping Hands Community Fair at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital at 1008 Minnequa Avenue in Pueblo on Wednesday, July 3.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Disease Control and Public Health Response Division is hosting the vaccination clinic, which is the latest addition to the event held the first Wednesday of each month. About 250 people participate in Helping Hands each month.

Vaccinations are available from 10 a.m. until supplies last, but if you miss your chance on July 3, free vaccinations will continue to be offered during the Helping Hands event each month.

“Our goal is to help our community members who need help,” said Sal Katz, operations manager for the Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center for Southern Colorado. “We’re not just hosting this event for veterans; anyone in Pueblo who needs help can come to the event. Vaccination services are also open to anyone who needs protection from diseases.”
