Jodi Matterson’s New Silent Indie Fireworks Strikes Development Deals With ‘Wolf Like Me’ and ‘Alice Hart’ Creators and ‘Bluey’ Lead Exec

Exclusive update at 4:17am PT, July 2: We have more details on Jodi Matterson’s new indie record, Silent Firework.

The independent company has partnered with two executives that Australian director Matterson worked with at former company Made Up Stories, and another with a key executive from children’s series Bluey. Additionally, we’ve heard that Matterson has raised a venture fund for the funding.

Matterson will work with Wolf Like Me writer, creator and director Abe Forsythe and Glendyn Ivin, who directed all seven episodes of Prime Video’s drama series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. The series is also in development with Libbie Doherty, executive producer of Bluey and former head of children and families at ABC, the Australian broadcaster.
