AGCO Announces Transformation of Dealer Network in Ohio

Licensed dealers to provide farmers with comprehensive access and service to popular AGCO brands throughout the Buckeye State.

AGCO has announced the transformation of its dealer network into Ohiowhich will allow experienced dealers to expand access to the manufacturer’s popular brands throughout the Buckeye State. Ohio Dealers Lowe & Young, Mayer Farm Equipment and North Star Hardware & Implement will expand their services in current territories. AGCO-owned AgRevolution will enter the state with physical locations and mobile services to provide AGCO’s full line of products to northern farmers Ohio.

DULUTH, Georgia, July 2, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — AGCO Corporation (NYSE: AGCO), a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and precision farming technologies, today announced the transformation of its Ohio dealer network. Several well-established AGCO dealers will expand to offer expanded services in the Buckeye State. Lowe & Young, Mayer Farm Equipment and North Star Hardware & Implement – ​​all current AGCO dealers in Ohio – will expand their product and service offerings in their existing territories. AgRevolution® – a growing dealership owned by AGCO and located in Illinois, Indiana And Kentucky – will expand its operations in the state with physical locations and mobile services to provide AGCO’s full product line to northern farmers Ohio.

AGCO and its dealer network will implement a comprehensive follow-up plan over the coming months to inform customers of transition plans, introduce them to new dealer teams and answer their questions. “There is no downtime in agriculture, and our dealers will provide seamless sales and support to all AGCO farmers,” said Ruchir PatelAGCO Vice President, Global Distribution Management.

Dealers intend to offer AGCO’s entire brand portfolio, including Fendt®, Massey Ferguson® and PTx® products and services. Lowe & Young, Mayer Farm Equipment and North Star Hardware and Implement will continue to operate in their current geographic areas with expanded product and service offerings. AgRevolution is expected to open several new locations in the North Ohio while also offering commercial application retail services throughout the state.
