Taylor Swift’s special message to Ireland after ‘crazy weekend’ in Dublin

Taylor Swift has said she is “still smiling” after a “crazy weekend” in Dublin. The pop superstar broke records by selling out the Aviva Stadium for three nights in a row, playing to 150,000 fans on the Irish leg of her Eras tour.

Swift wrapped up her concerts on Sunday, but it seems the Irish crowd had a lasting effect on her. She sent a special message to her fans on Tuesday, saying: “I knew as soon as I saw the first crowd in Dublin on Friday night that we were in for a crazy weekend.”

The Shake It Off singer posted the note on Instagram alongside a photo of herself wearing the colours of the Irish flag on stage.

She continued: “The spirit of those three glorious crowds embodied fun, joy and exuberance, and we felt so lucky to be there.

“The Irish fans made us feel so at home, so welcome in every way. I still think about it with a smile.”

Swift will head to Amsterdam for the next leg of her tour, which will see her travel across Europe before returning to the US for more dates in October.

Reviews of the Dublin concerts have been stellar, with countless clips from the shows circulating on social media. Fans were particularly excited to see Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce appear in the crowd at the Aviva on Sunday.

The NFL star accepted friendship bracelets from fans in the VIP tent, where he watched the show alongside rock legend Stevie Nicks and A-list actress Julia Roberts.
