SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — It’s going to be warmer tonight, but it’s still pretty nice. Unfortunately, it’s going to be less pleasant on Wednesday. What will the temperature be like and will we stay dry? Find out below…

Tonight it will be calm and milder, but not yet humid.

It’s a beautiful night with more clouds, but we stay dry and there is a light breeze.

Lows are noticeably milder compared to Monday night, as we hit a low near 65.

It’s getting warmer midweek, but are we staying dry?

Temperatures with a little more sunshine and a gusty southerly wind will push highs well into the 80s to 90s with humidity levels slowly increasing Wednesday as well.

How do the area’s lakes look for boaters and the Syracuse Mets on Wednesday night? Find out here.

Additionally, as a weakening cold front approaches from the west, we could see a shower/thunderstorm or two develop around sunset Wednesday, particularly north and west of Syracuse, which COULD interfere with fireworks displays.

The front arrives Wednesday evening/Thursday morning with some showers and thunderstorms but does not cool us down much for the 4th or beyond.

Wednesday night’s minimum temperatures will be quite warm with added humidity, as readings likely won’t drop below 70°.
