House of the Dragon fans shocked by oral sex scene in brothel

Aegon brings a new squire with him and makes plans for him to lose his virginity.

As they wander through the brothel, the king pulls back the curtains to reveal many different sex acts. The cameras then stop and pan to a woman performing oral sex on a man.

Although the overly graphic tropes are all too familiar to Game Of Thrones fans, the explicit sex scene still surprised many viewers, with fans on X expressing shock that they “were able to let that on air.”

“There was absolutely no reason for #HouseOfTheDragon to include explicit fellatio. Absolutely not,” wrote one baffled user.

“Yes, we know it’s a brothel. Sex can and should be an important part of the story; this was just stupid.”

Another fan wrote: “Wow, that was very racy. I was expecting sex but I didn’t think about it. The show never ceases to amaze me.”

“This scene in the brothel kinda surprised me. NGL is shaking if you will. Is that HBO or SkinaMax? Was that a prosthetic or the real thing?” posted a third person.

It was even more uncomfortable for fans who watched the episode with their family members.

“Imagine watching the latest episode of House of the Dragon with your parents, and THIS messy scene comes out of nowhere lol,” one person wrote on X.

“My mom walked into the room, now she thinks I’m a pervert,” shared another fan.

This wasn’t the only moment viewers were surprised by the latest The Dragon House episode. Shortly after the graphic scene, Prince Aemond Targaryen (played by Ewan Mitchell) stood up naked in the brothel after Aegon made jokes about him, surprising fans once again, reported Metro.

“I definitely didn’t expect that scene from Aemond’s brothel,” one person on X said.

The episode’s director, Geeta Vasant Patel, spoke to Variety earlier about why they depicted Aegon naked for this scene and acknowledged that it felt like the right decision for Mitchell’s character.

“We concluded that Aemond was injured. He was bullied when he was little.

“Since he was injured, he created a persona for himself that was the exact opposite of what he felt. He created a persona of someone who is insensitive and has no regard for what other people think of him,” Patel said. Variety.

“That shift, from someone who is vulnerable to someone who is literally watching him put on his armor, that’s what we were going for in that scene. It’s one of the few times you see the young child in him and the pain in him.

“Little by little, he puts on his armor and when he stands up, the fact that he doesn’t care that you see his penis is a very strong visceral change. And so, of course, Ewan said, ‘I want to be completely naked in that moment. That’s important to me because that’s what my character is. That’s what he would do.’ And that’s what we did.”
