Residence Announces New Shipping and Move-In Service for Students

The Residence is excited to announce a new service for all residents to make their move-in experience as easy as possible. In partnership with Storage Scholars, students can have their belongings shipped to our partners and then delivered to their room, so everything is ready and waiting for them when they arrive on campus. This service eliminates the need for students to overload their car, or have heavy boxes shipped to campus that they then have to carry across campus to their room, or worry about running errands after they arrive in South Orange. With Storage Scholars, they can do their grocery shopping from home, ship it to Storage Scholars, and have them deliver it to their room.

Storage Scholars offers a unique service to students: they can shop online, have their items shipped directly to Storage Scholars, and then have Storage Scholars deliver them to their room at Seton Hall. Storage Scholars will also arrange for FedEx to pick up a student’s belongings from their home and hold them in storage until they are delivered to the student’s room at Seton Hall.

“We are excited to offer this comprehensive service to our students,” said Kendra Sherman, assistant director of residence life. “This will be a great benefit, especially to our international and non-U.S. students.”
