Cross Country announces 2024 competition list

DAVIS, California – The UC Davis cross country team has announced its 2024 schedule as it attempts to make another attempt at success on the national stage.

This fall, head coach Emma Petersen will begin her fifth season at the helm and will lead the Aggies toward their 2024 campaign beginning with the USF Invitational on Aug. 30 at Golden Gate Park.

UC Davis will enjoy a bye week before its home game on Sept. 14, hosting the Stump Invitational at Putah Creek Reserve.

The following week, the Aggies will remain in Northern California on September 20 when they compete in the Pacific Collegiate Invitational at Mickey Grove Golf Course in Lodi, Calif.

Davis’ team will travel to the Midwest on Oct. 4 to compete in the Lakefront Invitational in Chicago, Ill., at Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course. The final race before postseason competition will be Oct. 19 at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Calif., for the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara.

The Big West Conference Championships will be hosted by UC Riverside on Nov. 2, and those who qualify for the NCAA West Regional will travel to Colfax, Wash., on Nov. 15 for the meet hosted by Washington State.

It will all culminate at the NCAA national meet in Madison, Wisconsin, on Nov. 23.
