WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Heart will no longer play at Intrust Bank Arena in November.

The band’s lead singer Ann Wilson has announced that she is recovering from surgery to remove cancerous tissue and is undergoing preventative chemotherapy. The rock legend announced the news on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday.

And so my doctors are asking me to spend the rest of the year away from the state in order to fully recover.

To ticket buyers, I would really like us to be able to do these shows. Please know that I absolutely intend to return to the stage in 2025. My team is working out these details and we will keep you updated on the plan as soon as possible.

Thanks everyone for the support.
It’s just a break.
I still have a lot to sing.

Love,

Ann Wilson

Wilson also stressed that this would be the last public statement on the matter. The band, known for their hits “Crazy on You” and “These Dreams,” was scheduled to perform Nov. 16 at Intrust Bank Arena, with tickets going on sale in April.

Select-A-Seat says that if you have already purchased tickets, hold on to them. Once the new date is announced, they will be valid. Select-A-Seat says that no refunds will be issued until the new concert date is announced.
