It’s getting hot in here, but according to my HR department and the no-shoes, no-shirt, no-service dress code of most public facilities, I’m not I can take my clothes off completely. So what are we supposed to wear when the humidity is higher than my phone battery? On one hand, I want to be comfortable enough to walk around the cabin without sweating profusely. But on the other hand, much more importantly, I need to remind everyone that I am super stylish and sexy. Baby didn’t go to the gym all winter (narrator reliability not guaranteed) just to pass up opportunities to show off in the summer.

With that in mind, I was craving some textile inspiration to help me find my balance between being technically dressed and wearing as little fabric as possible. So I dug into the recesses of my pop culture-soaked brain to unearth these iconic outfits from your favorite celebrities, singers, and fictional characters to make “hot girl summer” cool again.
