Texas’ Most Wanted Sex Offender Arrested

Texas (KAUZ) – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced that one of Texas’ 10 most wanted sex offenders is back in custody after his recent arrest.

Authorities arrested Ramiro Dominguez, one of Texas’ most wanted sex offenders, on June 27 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Dominguez was the DPS’ star fugitive in June 2024, and a Crime Stoppers reward will be paid for his arrest.

Following information received last month, Lubbock DPS special agents coordinated with Cheyenne Police Department officers to locate and arrest Dominguez.

DPS said Dominguez had been wanted since December 2023, when a warrant was issued out of Hale County, Texas, for his arrest for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

In 2012, Dominguez was convicted of first-degree rape in Oklahoma following an incident with a 10-year-old girl. He was subsequently sentenced to eight years in prison. Also in 2012, he was convicted of battery and domestic violence in Oklahoma and sentenced to three years in prison to be served concurrently with his eight-year sentence for rape.
