Jet Ski Stolen From Bellport Driveway

Another jet ski was stolen from a Long Island driveway, and the owner told News 12 the brazen act was caught on his surveillance camera.

“He just walked in here like it was nothing…he didn’t even look at the camera,” said Kevin Walker of Bellport.

Walker, a new father of triplets, tells News 12 that the video surveillance camera installed on his property shows someone walking down his driveway and taking his jet ski and the trailer it was on.

“I’m worried about babies and now some guy you know is in my yard,” Walker said.

According to the video, Walker said it happened around 12:45 a.m. Saturday.

He said the video shows the person trying to pull the jet ski and trailer into his driveway.

At one point, he appears to get stuck between a truck parked in the driveway and the side of Walker’s front driveway.

In the video Walker shared with News 12, you can hear a sound when it appears the equipment is jammed.

Walker said he and his wife didn’t hear the noise, probably because they were so tired from being new parents.

“He just dragged him out of the yard,” Walker said.

He said he is sharing the surveillance video with News 12 in hopes someone will recognize the person.

“I hope that by putting this out there, someone will see you out there…and you will get caught,” Walker said.

He also said he wants the jet ski he paid $21,000 for to be found and returned.

He is also very worried that someone could do something so brazen.

“It’s just heartbreaking that you know that this just happened… just a few feet away from us, you know, what else could he have done,” Walker said.

Walker told News 12 he is also offering a cash reward for information on his jet ski and trailer.
