What happens when a criminal is caught with a gun?

Communities have rallied to support our first responders after two high-profile shootings so far this year. Three people were killed in Burnsville in February and a Minneapolis police officer was shot and killed last month. In each case, the shooter was a felon who was prohibited from possessing a firearm. So what’s being done about it? And who’s feeling the brunt of it? WCCO’s Jennifer Mayerle investigates gun criminals.
