Anthony Edwards breaks silence after wild accusations

Anthony Edwards is coming off a career season in Minnesota where he averaged just under 26 points a night to lead the team. The Timberwolves to the Western Conference Finals. His offseason, however, appears to have gotten off to a more rocky start.

A woman claimed online that the NBA star was the father of her child, providing receipts that supposedly support her claims.

Photos began to be posted to an Instagram account under the username @iamallyd that showed both the woman’s baby and conversations she claims to have had with Edwards.

Well, as the world discovered via the internet on Tuesday, he has three kids (with three different women) to prove. The latest one came via Instagram, where it came with screenshots and what appears to be a positive DNA test.

This story shows screenshots of posts found in Ally D’s Instagram story, as well as written messages about the situation.

It was November when I found out he was having a baby girl before our son, literally a MONTH before, but since I’ve always kept it a secret, P literally said congratulations on the one on the way, so that makes 3 kids.

She continued with the following publications.

I was a nun but a great mom and a cool mom, I let you say what you want for MONTHS, I am such a peaceful mom that I even prayed for the other kids because at the end of the day they are my son’s brothers and sisters.

The woman also claims to have been “harassed” online, although she says she no longer speaks to Anthony Edwards.

I have been harassed and spoken so badly about someone I don’t even talk about and don’t even care about you. I’m under no NDA I just choose to raise my child and live my life… I don’t know why you let some weak lawyer make up stories like this it’s sad at this point oh and let me unblock my comic so I can tag this mf too

So why come out now?

All that son of a bitch had to do was leave me alone with the bullshit and the (lawyer) stuff for real, I’m such a peaceful person, but when it comes to my son, I’m not gonna keep letting the bullshit continue, period.

She then went after the Timberwolves star.

Only bums don’t claim their children lie about children etc, which is completely insane.

Anthony Edwards posted a video online amid these accusations.

He doesn’t seem too worried at the moment.

Instead, he hosted a fan meet-up at a “secret location” to support his Don’t Follow The Wave foundation, which helps student-athletes attending HBCUs.

Edwards isn’t overly concerned about the accusations, but it will be interesting to see if that changes as the offseason progresses.
