Serie A sensation ready to say ‘yes’ to Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool have been tracking him for months

The Gunners have been eyeing the 19-year-old on several occasions last season, as he made 34 appearances in all competitions, and the Serie A club are reportedly expecting €30m.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have also been tracking Dorgu for months, but the Gunners are in pole position to sign him.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes Dorgu’s defensive and attacking qualities make him capable of strengthening the left flank.

The teenage sensation impressed Arsenal scouts who watched him against Fiorentina and Sassuolo as he scored in both games.

They should contact his representatives to inquire further about what such a transfer will entail.

Arsenal are keen to strengthen their options on the left side, and Dorgu’s arrival will help them add depth to their squad as he can also play as a right winger.

The Gunners are close to signing Bologna centre-back Riccardo Calafiori and the Lecce star looks set to be next on their radar.

Arsenal were unable to call upon Jurrien Timber last season, while Oleksandr Zinchenko has not always impressed.

Takehiro Tomiyasu has also struggled with his fitness at times and Arteta appears desperate to bring in other quality options.

Dorgu fits the bill, but it is unclear whether Arsenal are prepared to spend €30m on a player who has only played one season of professional football.
