Brother of healthy Clemson player talks Tigers’ offer

The Clemson Tigers have recently added some elite talent to their future recruiting classes. Dabo Swinney and his staff have an impressive 2025 class and they are working on their 2026 class.

One intriguing name that has emerged in the Class of 2026 is Storm Miller.

Miller, who is the brother of current Clemson offensive lineman Blaker Miller, has an offer from the Tigers. He is also a four-star linebacker who also appears to have a bright future.

Young Miller explained how his brother’s situation impacted his own journey.

“Obviously, with my brother, he went through the whole recruiting process with Clemson, so I’ve been going there every year for almost four years now. So, it’s definitely like a second home at this point. So, finally getting that offer, and Coach Swinney doesn’t really give out a lot of offers, so it really meant a lot. It was like a surreal feeling — almost like a ‘we made it’ feeling because of my brother and all that. So, it was super cool.”

He also spoke about his brother’s reaction when he received an offer from Clemson.

“He was really, really proud of me. He obviously looked at me at camp and said he thought I could play there. He didn’t really point me to Clemson. He wants me to do what I want to do, so I appreciate that. But Clemson will definitely be there when it comes time to decide.”

Why are the Tigers so interested in the young linebacker? Miller also revealed that during his interview.

“It’s really my aggression and my physicality as a player. Coach Goodwin, I know he really likes that. And obviously, he’s also really fast, and I’m getting better at that. Those are probably the two biggest things: speed and aggression. I feel like you can teach almost everything else. Plus, Coach Goodwin has a really good game mind, which I feel like I share with him as well. So, I feel like the things you can’t teach, really, are all the things you can teach, but you can’t really teach the physicality, the aggression and then obviously the mental side of it as well.”

There are also a number of other schools that are very interested in Miller. Right now, he is considering offers from schools like Notre Dame, Michigan State and Kentucky. Those are just a few of the other offers.

Clearly, Clemson has a leg up on the competition. Miller knows the Tigers very well and has seen how well his brother has performed within the program.

Even though he has yet to make a decision, it appears Clemson has a good chance of having him play a significant role in their future defense.
