ARCH (Andalusian Horse Rescue Center) is hosting a Wine and Art Night with a Silent Auction on Friday, August 9, from 5-8pm.

The fundraising event, which takes place at Amor A Málaga wine bar in Mijas Pueblo, aims to raise funds to support the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of horses and donkeys in need.

Donations of works of art

Local artists have generously donated their artwork to be auctioned to help fund the rescue of abused, neglected or abandoned equines, animals who have no one else to fight for their welfare. The charity is still accepting donations of artwork for the auction and would love to hear from you if you have any artwork to donate. Artwork can include paintings, pottery, photography etc. All artwork will be displayed with the artist’s name, description, contact details and announced on our social media channels. All funds raised will go directly to supporting the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of horses in need.

Silent auction

Silent auctions are fundraising events in which items for sale are displayed for participants to examine, bid on, and purchase. Unlike traditional or live auctions, there is no auctioneer present. Instead, participants silently and anonymously place their bids on a bid sheet using a bid number.

ARCH cannot exist without the generosity of its supporters and invites you to the Amor A Málaga wine bar in Mijas Pueblo on Friday 9th August, from 5pm to 8pm. The entrance fee is €10 and includes a glass of wine and a tapa. If you have artwork to donate, you can contact them to donate your artwork through the ARCH website or on 711 07 00 99.
