Javed Akhtar buys ready-to-move-in property worth Rs 7.76 crore in posh Juhu | Bollywood News

According to the report, Akhtar had earlier purchased a 1218.47 sq ft attached flat for Rs 7 crore in 2021. He is currently residing in this cooperative housing society and lives in a flat on a different floor of these two properties.

In a previous exchange with Mojo Story, Javed had spoken about his properties in Juhu and the ongoing project of building his dream house in the same area. Due to the long construction period, he revealed that he currently resides in a small two-room apartment with his wife, Shabana Azmi. During the exchange, he humorously remarked that while arguments over interior design can put a strain on their marriage, they are experts in resolving their problems.

He said, “We are currently constructing a house in Juhu and we have been constructing it for almost two years. Luckily, we have two additional small flats in the same building and we live in them. This house could cost us this marriage. We argue about the decoration of the house, like the placement of the sofa and all, but we eventually get over it. After half an hour of unpleasant argument, we talk normally.”
