Kendrea Reed Arrested With Cocaine After Driving Stolen Chevy Malibu – Scoop: Nashville

Kendrea Reed, 19, was spotted driving a stolen Chevrolet Malibu on Gallatin Pike on June 24. Officers were notified of a stolen vehicle at the store and followed the vehicle to a nearby Papa John’s, where it was parked out front. Reed and another man were observed exiting the car and entering the business. Reed and all other occupants of the vehicle were then taken into custody without incident. When officers searched the vehicle, they found one gram of cocaine that was stored in a gum container. No one in the vehicle took possession of the drug, and it was within reach of everyone. Reed was charged with operating a stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.

Kendrea Reed, of Tulip Grove Rd in Hermitage, Tennessee, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 24 on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and casual possession or exchange. A court marshal set her bail at $4,000 and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office granted her a pretrial release from their facility.
