Ana Navarro sends explicit message to Democrats who want Biden to “resign”

Ana Navarro isn’t tired of some Democrats’ responses to President Joe Biden’s disastrous performance in last week’s debate.

The “The View” co-host and CNN commentator took to Instagram on Wednesday to weigh in on the pundits, donors, former Democratic officials and “anonymous sources” who have signaled it’s time for the president to drop out of the race.

“You want Joe Biden to step down? That’s fair. But you know what? This guy has served our country his whole life since he was 28,” Navarro said.

She continued: “So I think he deserves some respect. You want him to resign? Why don’t you call the White House? Why don’t you call the campaign? Why don’t you call the DNC?”

The comments from “The View” co-host come amid a week of post-debate panic among Democrats.

Biden, in a call with Democratic governors on Wednesday, said “no one is pushing” him to resign as he pledged to continue his campaign.

Navarro, a Republican and staunch Trump critic, previously described Biden’s debate performance as “worrying” but vowed not to abandon the president until he declares he is “giving up” on his reelection bid.

She took to social media Wednesday to criticize pundits who have criticized Biden on television shows, a move she compared to performing a “telenovela in public.”

“And, meanwhile, Republicans are enjoying every minute of it, laughing while Democrats eat theirs and go through a circular firing squad,” said Navarro, who wrote on X that she would support a “inanimate object” on Trump in November.

She added that people discuss Biden’s mental acuity without asking whether former President Donald Trump is “morally fit to serve.”

“Because it’s not a question of ‘if,’ the answer is no,” she said. “But the Democrats, instead of giving this president some respect, they go straight to the media and act like divas… I’m disgusted.”
