Body found in vehicle at rest stop west of Drummond | State

DRUMMOND, Mont. – A deceased person was discovered in a vehicle at the westbound rest area, west of Drummond, Montana, on Wednesday.

According to the news release from Granite County Sheriff and Coroner Scott Dunkerson, emergency responders were dispatched to a report on July 3, 2024, at approximately 9:17 (unspecified PM or AM).

The body has been sent to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula to determine the cause and manner of death.
