Aftersun Audience Left Speechless After Crude, Shocking Joke

Maya Jama made a joke about one of the Love Island contestants that left the live audience in shock – but viewers at home said the Aftersun host was “on form”.

On Love Island: Aftersun today (Sunday, June 30), Maya chatted to Amy Hart and Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson about one of this week’s most talked about moments.

They discussed Ciaran Davies’ body count confession to current partner Nicole Samuel, where he claimed to have slept with over 100 women. Sam insisted: “You’d lose count! Unless he’s got an Excel spreadsheet. How does he know it’s 120?”

Amy said: “The problem is they’re both from Wales, 20 minutes apart. So they could go out clubbing and there’d be 120 people there.”

The audience laughed and Maya added, “Maybe she slept with a cousin, who knows.” She was shocked by the audience when Maya insisted, “I’m kidding!”

Maya quickly moved on to the topic of Casa Amor, but fans took to social media to laugh at the situation.

One user wrote: “Gunna fucked his cousin hahaha. Maya in shape, still pissed at Glasto #LoveIslandaftersun.” Another commented: “He may have fucked his cousin MAYA STOP NOW.”

A third added: “I hadn’t thought of this but Maya was right with the comment about Nicole’s cousin #loveIsland #LoveIslandAfterSun.”

And a fourth feared: “I feel like Maya is going to pay for her cousin’s comment #loveislandaftersun.”

During the show, Maya apologised for her hoarse voice, insisting Glastonbury was to blame, but that she was determined to get through it.

Recent dropouts Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint also appeared on the show to talk about their experiences.

When asked if they knew they were going to cause chaos, Ronnie said yes, adding: “I started looking at Jess and then I saw this one in the kitchen and it’s dangerous.”

Ronnie then explained the love triangle situation. “I hit a big roadblock and Harriett came looking for me.”

Harriett later said her journey had been “very eventful” but that she and Ronnie had “a really good connection from the beginning.”

The video of Ronnie then kissing Tiffany Leighton during their trip away from the villa was released and it didn’t appear that Harriett knew the couple had kissed. Ronnie covered Harriett’s eyes as the video played.

Ronnie later said: “I’m a changed man. You have to learn from your mistakes. I’m happy.”

When Maya asked Harriett how she felt seeing the images, she replied, “Obviously, I didn’t expect that, but we’re in a good place now. That’s all in the past.”
