Michael Douglas almost unrecognizable in video message after Catherine Zeta-Jones’ house crash

Michael Douglas, who is married to Welsh star Catherine Zeta-Jones, sent a message to his fans via his Instagram account on July 4. Despite being a member of the Hollywood royal family, the star looked very different from his usual image.

The actor, best known for his roles in Wall Street and Behind the Candelabra, looked relaxed as he filmed the video, standing in front of a beautiful sunset.

It comes days after it was suggested he and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones were “struggling to cope”.

In his message, the actor said: “Good evening everyone. Just want to get a head start on July 4th, our Independence Day!

“I wish us all a happy 4th of July, and maybe this year let’s think of the country first and party later. Have a great holiday! MD.”

Fans also shared the sentiment. One wrote: “Have a wonderful and safe holiday too Mr. Douglas. Many positive thoughts for Biden’s victory and the restoration of democracy. God and country!!”

“What a legend you are!! Just like your dad! Happy 4th of July,” wrote another.
