On the July 4th episode of Zach and Tori Take height In a podcast, the parents of three children spoke about the negative comments they receive from strangers.

“We get a lot of comments from people who don’t deserve to have a voice, honestly, like in our lives,” Tori says. “It happens from time to time, you know, when we question our decision to have children when we knew they might have dwarfism.”

Zach, 34, noted that he and Tori, 33, had a 50 percent chance of having a dwarf child with each pregnancy. However, their three children…Jackson7, Lilah4, and Josiah2—were born with achondroplasia and dwarfism.

“We have three children with dwarfism that we chose to bring into this world,” Tori said. “And I can’t imagine what kind of world we live in where we can look at our three children and say, ‘Yeah, that wasn’t supposed to happen.’”

She continued: “I can’t look at my children and see anything but the grace of God and the love of Jesus.”

Zach elaborated on these sentiments, saying, “And then the comments will say, ‘Why bring in kids with dwarfism, they’re going to be ridiculed?’ And they’re like, ‘Wait. That’s not my problem and that’s not their problem. That’s these people’s problem.'”
