New UK HealthCare clinic opens, offering quality family healthcare in Hamburg

UK HealthCare is the home of the University of Kentucky hospitals and clinics. But it’s much more than that. It’s more than 10,000 dedicated health care professionals committed to providing advanced subspecialty care to the most seriously injured and ill patients in the Commonwealth and beyond. It’s also home to the state’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center, a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit that cares for the smallest and sickest newborns, the region’s only Level 1 trauma center and the #1 hospital in Kentucky as ranked by U.S. News & World Report.

As an academic research institution, we continually seek the next generation of cures, treatments, protocols and policies. Our discoveries have the potential to change what is medically possible in our lifetimes. Our educators and thought leaders are transforming the landscape of health care as our six colleges of health professions teach the next generation of physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health professionals, spreading the highest standards of care. UK HealthCare is the advanced medical powerhouse committed to creating a healthier Kentucky, today and for generations to come.
