Putnam County Library partners with Ravinia Festival to offer free tickets

The Putnam County Public Library District has announced it will partner with Ravinia Festival to offer free tickets to the community for the 2024 Words & Music program.

Tickets include free admission to the lawn for 15 concerts from July through September. In addition, tickets include a free train ticket on the Metra Union Pacific North line to Ravinia. Tickets are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Call the Granville branch at 815-339-2038 for availability information. The Granville branch of the Putnam County Public Library is located at 214 S. McCoy St.

Ravinia is an internationally renowned non-profit music festival featuring performances by the world’s greatest artists. Tickets for the Paroles et Musique program are valid on the printed date only, can only be used on the night of the show, cannot be exchanged and cannot be sold.
