Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule – Coastal Carolina University Athletics

CONWAY, South Carolina –Head Coach of the Coastal Carolina Volleyball Team Steve Loeswick announced the 2024 schedule for the defending Sun Belt Conference champion Chanticleers, which includes 11 non-conference games and 16 Sun Belt Conference games.

The Chanticleers will play 16 of their 27 regular-season games at the HTC Center and in Conway.

Coastal will open play in Atlanta, while the Chanticleers will compete in a two-day event. CCU will face UCLA on Thursday, Sept. 1, before playing the host Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Friday, Sept. 2. The Chanticleers will stay on the road as they travel to Charlottesville, Va., to meet Hofstra on Sept. 6 before playing back-to-back games with the University of Virginia on Sept. 6-7.

The Chants will host Gardner Webb on September 12 before welcoming the Tennessee Volunteers for a pair of games on September 14-15 at the friendly HTC Center.

CCU will head north to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a neutral-site matchup with VCU before facing host NC State on Sept. 21 and 22, respectively.

The following weekend, September 27-28, the Chants return to Conway, as Coach Loeswick’s squad will host Marshall to open SBC action.

Coastal Carolina will open October on the road, as the Ladies in Teal travel to Norfolk, Virginia for a conference matchup with the Old Dominion Monarchs on October 4-5.

The Chanticleers will host Georgia State on Oct. 11-12, before back-to-back road games with James Madison (Oct. 18-19) and Appalachian State (Oct. 24-25).

CCU will close out October with the start of the Chants’ longest home game against in-state foe Charleston on Oct. 29 before hosting Georgia Southern (Nov. 1-2) and Texas State (Nov. 8-9) on consecutive weekends.

The Chants conclude the regular season on the road in Mobile, Alabama against the South Alabama Jaguars on November 15-16.

The 2024 Sun Belt Conference Volleyball Championships will once again be held at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex in Foley, Alabama, and will take place November 20-24.
