Fans shocked after spotting ITV star in crowd during England clash against New Zealand

Eagle-eyed fans were shocked after spotting an ITV star in the crowd during England’s defeat to New Zealand.

Shaun Wallace, known for his role in The Chase, cheered on Martin Johnson’s team at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

The hunter is enjoying a trip to New Zealand and shared photos from a visit to a winery.

He was also spotted at a rugby match, leaving fans watching from home a little confused.

One fan reacted, saying: “Was that it? Shaun Wallace Since the hunt in the crowd? 😂”

Another added: “Is the guy from The Chase here?”

A third wrote: “Oh my god is that the guy from The Chase?”

And another commented: “The Chase’s brother is an All Blacks fan?? 🤣”

England The Blues trailed early against the All Blacks but a Mauro Itoje try and a Marcus Smith penalty made it 10-10 at half-time.

The Red Roses came out firing after the break and their pressure paid off when Immanuel Feyi-Waboso crossed for England’s second try.

Smith missed the resulting conversion and missed a penalty moments earlier, the ball appearing to hit the tee.

England were left to rue their missed opportunities as two New Zealand penalties gave them a 16-15 lead, which they held on to despite English pressure late in the game.
