Details of the giant firework explosion in Kai’s room

Cenat titled the video “How I Fooled the Internet.” The beginning shows a clip of the explosion, set off by his roommate and fellow streamer, Davis.

As reported by The Shade Room, he interrupted Kai’s stream with MrBeast, born James “Jimmy” Donaldson, and began discussing last year’s “firework wars” that damaged his room. Davis was apparently seeking revenge, stating that he would “return the service.”

He then advises MrBeast to leave, and he quickly exits. Kai and Davis fight over the large firework box before Davis finally lights it. The pair rushed out of the room as the giant firework exploded, subsequently setting off a large pile of fireworks in the room. Sparks of fire and smoke appear. Additionally, the loud screech of fireworks could be heard before the stream abruptly stopped.

Kai Cenat and MrBeast Explain How They Pulled Off the Fireworks Prank

After the fight and fireworks, it appears that Kai’s room is destroyed. However, the content creator reveals in his YouTube video that it was a well-orchestrated prank. A clip of MrBeast explaining that the room was fake appears. His team created a “scale replica” from Kai’s room to destroy for the prank.

“We’ve replicated my room and we’re going to blow it up in front of hundreds of thousands of people,” Kai said.

Jimmy added: “We recreated his room in a field so he can have a ‘fireworks war’ to throw objects, and when everything burns down for good, we’ll play a prank on you.”

“Make sure you stay tuned. I got you.” Kai teased.

MrBeast then said: “And if this backfires and becomes a really bad prank, Kai takes full responsibility.”

The replay then shows Kai running towards a trailer instead of the hallway of his mansion, as viewers initially thought. The streamer ran towards the mobile to see how the explosion appeared on the stream.

He and his team celebrated the success of this fiery prank, cheering and swatting at each other. They eventually went outside and watched the fireworks as they fired from the small replica in the middle of the field. The structure eventually caught fire as spectators had assumed Cenat’s house would.

The cost of such a farce remains unclear. Watch behind the scenes below.
