Missouri’s ‘Best Farm-to-Table Experience’ Coming to Eureka, According to Food Critics

EUREKA, Mo. – Farmhouse-style fare is often in high demand. There’s one place in the St. Louis area that particularly stands out for its top-notch farm-to-table fare and ambiance, according to food critics.

A research team from LoveFood.com recently compiled a list of the most memorable dining experiences in each of the 50 states. Their choices were based on reviews, awards and accolades, in addition to the first-hand experience of their team of food writers.


According to LoveFood.com, Missouri’s “most memorable dining experience” is none other than Claverach Farm in Eureka, Missouri. This restaurant has also been dubbed “the best farm-to-table experience” in the state.

Claverach Farm, located at 570 S. Lewis Road, is rich in history and abundant in land.

The jewel in the crown is a 120-year-old barn, lovingly restored and decorated over the years to provide an authentic dining experience. Over 300 acres of farmland surround the barn, with immersive views and locally sourced cuisine.

Fried green tomatoes, zucchini and pork roulade are among the most popular dishes. The farm has also stepped up its natural wine business in recent years, offering varieties of both local and international origin.
