Kai Cenat and MrBeast Admit Fireworks Explosion in Room Was a Prank

Earlier this week, popular content creators Kai Cenat and MrBeast Fans teamed up for a highly anticipated livestream that ended with a full-blown fireworks display. The stream caught the attention of fans. However, that excitement quickly turned to concern when Davis, another streamer and friend of Kai’s, set off fireworks inside what many initially thought was Kai’s room.

As the room appeared to catch fire, Cenat, 22, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his frustration: “I’m sick of all this shit.” However, many viewers then began to dissect the play and suspected that the burning room was not actually Cenat’s but rather a set designed for the prank.

They were right. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, later revealed on TikTok that the whole scene was a carefully planned prank. He shared behind-the-scenes clips showing how they recreated Cenat’s streaming room in the middle of a field, complete with decorations and streaming setup. Kai then shared a YouTube video titled “How I Fooled the Internet,” showing behind-the-scenes footage of how they pulled off the prank, which many on the internet are still calling irresponsible.
