Kodak Black Says He Wants To Stop Performing This Song After Getting Sober

“It was like An***a was scared to be sober or something,” he continued. “Now I can do it. I can go two days without nothing, man… It’s motivation for niggas to think if the Gremlin can do it, you can do it.”

He opened up about his new sobriety journey just weeks after revealing how serious his addiction was. At a concert last month, Kodak told the crowd that he regretted intentionally taking a fake Perc because of how dangerous the pill was. He also claimed that he used to chew at least 100 pills a day.

“It’s sad though, man, because that’s how it is, the bar came to mind so quickly,” Yak said. “I was like, ‘Fuck, I don’t want to say this, but I know that bitch is going to go.’ But we ain’t gonna play like that, man. When I was at my stadium, chewing on these Percs, I wouldn’t say I busted these bitches.”

“I swear to God and my homies can attest to this – I smoked 100 Percs a day, man,” he admitted. “On average, 40. On average! If I would have fucked with that fake stuff, man, I would have died. Man, I’m saying this, I’m explaining myself now. I don’t want you to hear this and take it and feel like it’s okay to do this, you understand me?”

It’s great that Kodak wants to change his life. Luckily, he’s on the road to recovery. Check out what he has to say about his addiction below.
