Two junior OMC doctors caught buying marijuana in Hyderabad

Two junior doctors of Osmania Medical College were caught buying marijuana from a drug peddler in Koti, Hyderabad by the Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) and Sultan Bazaar police. The officers seized 10 sachets of marijuana weighing 80 grams.

Police said 38-year-old Suresh Singh alias Tinku Singh was involved in drug dealing in the city since 2017. He has now been found selling the contraband to Dr K. Manikandan and Dr V. Aravind.

Both the doctors tested positive for marijuana in a test. Suresh Singh used to procure the drug from one Dinesh Singh of Machipura in Dhoolpet and sell it to customers in the city. He continued to do so for three years, during which some doctors asked him to buy the drug. It was found that nearly eight to ten medical students were his regular customers, police said.
