Clive Owen says David Bowie inspired him to become an actor

Actor Clive Owen revealed that David Bowie was a great inspiration for him who wanted to become an actor.

“Bowie probably has more to do with me being an actor than any other actor,” Owen said. Variety has Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

“He showed me that you could create worlds,” Clive says. “My imagination was fired – that’s how I started to get into acting. It was Bowie who made me want to understand the art.”

Variety Owen said he had no intention of trying to play Bowie in a project.

Although Bowie, who died in 2016, is best known for his music, he dabbled in acting throughout his career. He appeared in films such as The man who fell to earthand the years 1986 Novices And Labyrinthas well as Martin ScorseseThe 1988 film The Last Temptation of Christ2006 Prestige and more.
