Jude Bellingham sends retirement message to Real Madrid icon Toni Kroos

England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham sent a message of thanks to retired Toni Kroos this evening.

This all comes, of course, after Kroos took to the field in a competitive setting for the very last time.

After announcing his decision to hang up his boots at the end of Germany’s Euro 2024 campaign, the 34-year-old led Die Mannshaft into a crucial quarter-final against Spain.

And, in the end, despite all the efforts of the German midfield master, it was the latter who emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result.

This in turn means that Kroos’ iconic career is well and truly over.

It’s no surprise, then, to hear messages of tribute pouring in on social media late Friday night.

And, as mentioned above, his name was recently added to the list, that of one of Kroos’ most prominent teammates at club level.

On his official Instagram account, Jude Bellingham revealed a photo of the Real Madrid player leaving, accompanied by the infinity symbol and a goat emoji:
